About 6 months before I turned 30 a client asked me what I had achieved in my life? He meant “really achieved” he wasn’t just talking about a promotion, or a fitness goal or another average accolade.
What had I really done with my life?
I had overcome many things, I’d hit some targets, purchased a property and been pretty average at life when the question was posed.
This played on my mind relentlessly. At that point in my life I had achieved sweet f*&k all worth mentioning.
I made that the turning point in my career.
6 months later I opened the doors to OTG, 8 months later I won my first world championship and the rest is pretty much history.
I pulled the trigger on everything I had dreamt about.
Now looking back on the risks I had taken to get what I had wanted so badly, and I am so grateful, and I still continue to live my life on my own terms.
I take huge risks in business, I often take big gambles financially and I always grab every opportunity that comes my way, I deal with the consequences post decision.
In fact I have a tattoo on my neck from the scribe on my family coat of arms that reads “Je m’engae e pui je voi” which translates to “First I engage myself, and then I see”
I live true to this, and count my lucky stars at night that I do. I wouldn’t have half of what I have in my life if I didn’t live in the moment, and if I chose not to chase my ridiculous dreams.
Everyday I listen to friends and family who just wont bite the bullet. They want to lose weight, get strong, travel, start a business and be better at life. Have they started? No.
“The time isnt right”
travel, start a business and be better at life. Have they started? No.
“The time isnt right”
“I dont have time”
“I work an 8 5 ”
“I have to pay off my debts”
“I have an old injury”
“I’m going to start training on Monday”
“I’m going to start eating better on Monday”
Pull the F**King TRIGGER
While you sit around talking about the places you want to travel to, how strong you want to be and how you want to start your own business.
I’m over here booking my flights, starting my third business and breaking more records. Why? Because I choose to bite the bullet
