Rucking: a form of physical exercise that involves walking or hiking with a loaded backpack or rucksack, typically over varying distances and terrains.
Its become a massive trend of late, but it actually roots back to the military where soldiers would carry heavy loads over all kinds of terrains to build endurance and strength.
I am a BIG fan! Why?

- Builds crazy mental toughness
- It can literally be done anywhere
My personal tips if you want to give it a go:
- Start light and increase the weight of your pack as you get more conditioned
- Get a quality backpack that gives you a strap around your waist
- Watch your posture – Nice straight back and relax those shoulders
- Pace yourself – Ruck don’t run
Its trending because its effective, it gets you outdoors, it can be social and it literally prepares you for anything.
