Sometimes we overthink what we NEED, sometimes we even DO MORE than we need, and then there are times that we don’t do ENOUGH of what is good.
Here’s a little glimpse into my mind:
- MOVEMENT MATTERS – Quality over quantity ALWAYS – learn to move well to move forever. Bad technique leads to injury, injury leads to time off, time off leads to standing still.
- INDIVIDUALIZATION IS KEY – Your training program should be tailored to you, we are not all the same so randomized programs wont address your weaknesses or your strengths.
- PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD – Gradually increase intensity, volume or complexity over time to drive adaptation and improvements.
- RECOVERY IS A NON NEGOTIABLE – Sleep, hydration and food are just as important as what you doing in the gym. Equally as important.
- MOBILITY and STABILITY – Address your restrictions and improve on your mobility if you want to enhance your movement, make progress and reduce injury risk.
